andybrock
I've recently bought a 17FB. Original 17FB brass is like finding hens teeth unless you are really lucky and drop on some (buy it all if you do find some) however its very easy to form 17FB out of 221 fireball brass which is much more readily available. I use Lapua brass. I bought a set of forming dies but if you look around on the internet particularly the American shooting forums you'll find easy cheap ways to form your brass. mike82
What rifle had you in mind Mike. Was thinking a R700, however I've decided to go for a .17Hornet instead…..
stillair1
A Rem 700 might come with more free bore than you want, mine did. If I was going fb again I would go Cooper for a factory option. My shooting buddy has a CZ .17 hornet, no complaints.

Was thinking a .17HH either savage 25 walking varminter as ruger no longer making 77/17 - not a fan of CZ.
