TC
I’ve just had a strop with my current setup (user error in fairness 😊) and ordered a v3 and fz-120. It seems the v3 is a pretty significant improvement. Are any of the Area 419 extras still worthwhile ? Tony
John MH
Cup, pan and lid.

Sounds like I’m going camping ..... it looks as though there is a glass pan and centering tray with the v3. Any benefit to the 416? Is the standard lid just too flimsy ? Catch-22
Never had an issue with the standard lid. As for a decent pan, I bought a bartender medium sized stainless wine/spirit measure. 55ml I think. Heavy so won’t tip, tall enough to ensure even ball powders don’t jump out of the cup and everywhere. Couple of £ on flea bay. The other stuff is nice an all...but it’s all just more fancy, fluffy stuff which isn’t actually needed. Save yourself a few quid to spend on a few more thousand primers. John MH
None of the extras are necessary, it’s personal choice.
DaveT
Just used my V3 trickler setup for the first time. WOW..... what a piece of kit! Great improvement in functionality over V2 and metered even relatively coarse stick IMR4350 perfectly. Expensive but worth it any day for speed and accuracy.
