17 Rem
About 9 months after buying a cheap used early Photon with a T20 illuminator, I finally got around to putting it on a rifle this afternoon. Glad I did!
Baldcoot
Nice result ,any range involved or just a nice infra red ambush
17 Rem
Just ambushed over bait. One at just short of 25 yards, the other just short of 70.

JB1
Nice result rem. What rifle did you use?
17 Rem
A Sako 75 stainless Varmint in .222. I just used Privi factory ammunition, bearing in mind the short ranges involved. Some more bait went last night, although I saw nothing. Time to throw tonight's leftovers over the wall!
Boydy47
Had one the other night, spotted at about 200 yards, skylined with me silhouetted against some street lights from the industrial estate behind the farm, moved to a better position with trees behind me but he was hugging the skyline at 120-130 yards. Got set up and comfy on the sticks and squeaked, he came charging in so fast down the slope I struggled to get him in focus, luckily last minute something got his attention and he turned broadside at 23 yards, 35 gr v'max from the hornet to the shoulder dropped him on the spot. He had no clue I was there, I'm sure I never would have got him to come down to a safe shootable position with a lamp, had several like this during lambing this year! weejohn
Nothing better than being totally covert out after fox's. Once you do nv and thermal you won't go back to the lamp.
