First Night Vision Attempt

Had one the other night, spotted at about 200 yards, skylined with me silhouetted against some street lights from the industrial estate behind the farm, moved to a better position with trees behind me but he was hugging the skyline at 120-130 yards. Got set up and comfy on the sticks and squeaked, he came charging in so fast down the slope I struggled to get him in focus, luckily last minute something got his attention and he turned broadside at 23 yards, 35 gr v'max from the hornet to the shoulder dropped him on the spot.

He had no clue I was there, I'm sure I never would have got him to come down to a safe shootable position with a lamp, had several like this during lambing this year!
