Rem 6mm BR Foxer

Recommended Posts

Rem 6mm BR thats the customers waited almost 12 months for:

R/H Rem 700 trued action - customer didnt want a oversize bolt knob, which I think would have enhanced the looks and usability.

Lothar Walther 8 twist, stainless barrel finished at 26" in Rem Sendero profile

PTG .200" recoil lug

Threaded 5/8th unf without protective cap

Pillar bedded into Mac A5 with standard Rem BDL bottom metal

Timney trigger ajusted to break at a safe and reliable 2lbs

Northstar Mod

A nice heavy foxing rig that will do double duty with heavy for calibre bullets at long range on tiny targets...

One satisfied customer - images sent yesterday;

Initial load development done in 15 mph gusting wind

Final group of the day - which when calibre subtracted looks like .092" to me

Cheers Elliot

close to me I see

Yeah and I've heard good things from Alex. He sounds over the moon with the 6mmBR. I can see myself getting tempted.

Wouldn't mind meeting up and having a look at your setup if you're not too far away. I'd like do something with my 223 to help me stretch out the range for longer range varminting.

Currently doing quite well with 53gr V-Max but I'm pretty limited due to the 1:12 twist. As always, the wind is a killer!

  • 2 weeks later...

She is definitely a shooter, I have shot quite a few more groups similar and better, to that, and the only limiting factor in the link is me !!! I just need time to get out and shoot it now... I have never struggled with my small bolt knob, but when I do Andy I will let you know..... :P

Thats good to know Alex,

Look forwards to seeing more tight groups with or without the small knob :)

No, its a standard ajustable A5 - lengthening an A5 forend other than at the factory would be a very expensive modification and even if done at source id suggest it would need a custom mould making...
