alcesgigas
Outstanding. Great attention in the right direction in my opinion. I'd like to build a 375 Mercenary using the Mausingfield, but so far they're not made large enough.

brown dog
The Mausingfield action isn't stainless so it will need a finish of some kind and at present the jury is now out on the finish it will get, as such I haven't bead blasted the barrel yet until I know which route will be taken. _MG_8542.jpg _MG_8544.jpg _MG_8546.jpg _MG_8554.jpg _MG_8555.jpg _MG_8557.jpg Totally missed this thread for some reason, but have to say, that looks awesome! baldie
Lovely action is The Mausingfield. I,m just about to build a .22Br on one, and in conjunction with my new Br mag conversion, it works perfectly. There probably isn't a better action for the Br , cos its controlled feed. The case is gripped as it comes out of the mag, and is gripped until the ejector kicks it off at the rear of the fired stroke.

Tuck
That's what I hear too Great shame, as he's a top bloke and rebarreled a rifle for me in the autumn and done a superb job.
