Guest Hoot Posted July 1, 2007 Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 Looks like its going to have to be a case of save buying what you want until you have sufficient items to make a quick cheapish flight to the US worth while and just buy the whole lot in one go and stick it in you luggage. Remembering to post the receipts on by surface mail of course, you don't want to have them in your possession if questions are asked by customs . Vermincinerator Posted July 1, 2007 Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 I was told that it costs about £40 to collect the duty and vat on any item and if the percentage of the duty and tax levied comes to less then that they dont bother.
