swift 17 spec moderator

good afternoon ,quick question,has any one else had a 17hmr round strike the baffles and end cap on a swift cal specific moderator. I was using hornady v max,bought a few months ago from a rfd ,moderator was clean and no oil in it ,fired 21 rounds during the evening no problems etc yet still the 17 bullet has destroyed the moderator,moderator was not loose threads factory cz any ideas .this rifle has fired just over 2500 rounds mainly hornady never had a problem before.using this same moderator.genuine swift not Chinese copy.
