brown dog
Anyone played with Eley Contact? (Anyone even seen it on sale?!) - Supposedly a slightly heavier subsonic hollowpoint optimised for semi-autos.
MrCetrizine
I tried both for mini rifle comps. The force is very comparable to mini mag, the contact runs like a typical standard velocity. Accuracy is what you'd expect from Eley, i.e. good and consistent. I'm waiting for my local RFD to get more but they're having issues with TNT delivering (apparently an industry wide problem). FGYT
I thought contact wasn't hollow point it's advertised as competition ammo so S5 wouldn't be a good idea
MrCetrizine
Both contact and force are round nose.
David Hancock
Eastern Sporting had some Contact. It's 42gms but I use Eley Subs for hunting and Tenex when I want to play targets with really accurate stuff in my Anschutz.
brown dog
Both contact and force are round nose. Bums, for some reason, I'd locked in my head that Contact is HP!
