gun nut
Get Colin at OLC to make you a stainless one and forget about the strippable bit. Mike

phoenix
Whatever you get make sure it's calibre specific as opposed to (say) 30 cal I'm using calibre specific DPT mods on my 22-250 and 243 and i find them to be both light and quiet. Cheers Bruce
VarmLR
I've gone ASE-U SL5 calibre specific for all of my CF rifles. Light for SS, no need to strip and effective moderation (up to 30dB I think). Not the cheapest but ideal for varminting. I'd also recommend Jet-Z and DPT mods although you're best advised to order a spare SS rear baffle with each mod if going the DPT route.
