Otisthedog
A question for R93 owners and ideally riflesmiths that have worked on them. I have an older R93 Professional with a pretty rough stock. I plan to send it to Blaser to get it refurbished. In the meantime I have bought an R93 Offroad stock, without the action / trigger / innards. I'd like to put the innards from the R93 Pro into the Offroad stock. Web research has shown that the stocks' inlets are slightly different; the edges of the bottom of the Pro action are rounded, whereas the Offroad's are square. To do the switch the other way (putting an Offroad action into a Pro stock) therefore requires the Pro stock to be milled out a little. So to put the Pro into an Offroad I gather I should have no problems and no alterations will be required. Hmmm. I just wondered about the corners/voids left; would I need to get these filled with devcon or similar? Or so long as it's a snug fit, just crack on? Apologies for the long-windedness. I have found pics of the two inlets... Professional Offroad
