Here's a few from this month. Not exactly run of the mill. Makes a change from black....

 

First up is a Remington, fully blueprinted and fitted with a Border cut blank. Its a 1 in 8" and chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. The barrel is a heavy straight taper and finished at 18". Fitted with a third eye tactical brake and muzzle mounted moderator.

 

 

It has a Timney trigger and NF rail. The bolt is fluted and fitted with a tac knob.

 

Paint is Ceracoat OD mil spec green.

 

 

 

The Stock is an AI AX in the new green colour.

 

 

Next up is a Sako TRG. This has just be re-barrelled in 6.5 x 47 by Paddy Dane, and he sent his customer up for a paint job. The guy picked his colours, and his pattern, and off we went. Its all done in Duracoat.

 

 

Then another sako. I barrelled this a while ago in 6.5 x 47 and it came back for paint recently. The metalwork is done in Ceracoat armour black, and the stock is done in Duracoat, based on the DPM pattern.

 

 

Then another TRG in .338 flavour. Metalwork in Armour black, and the stock in 3 colours of Duracoat in woodland Cammo.

Is that a factory colour on the AX AICS? I think that it's a lovely, subtle colour. Do you know if they are offering it on the AX and AT rifles as well?

The brake is awesome as its a variant of the Doofer®

Out of interest, those key mod rails on the Remington, polymer or aluminium?

 

Also, if they are oven meltable polymer how does the coating work?

The new green colour is AI,s own Ceracoat recipe. All the rails etc are aluminium.....no polymer where it shouldn't be on a military spec rifle.

 

The plastic parts are injection moulded in the same colour [ skins ]

 

This is now the standard green on all stocks, and rifles.
