Ruger RPR and Versapod Bipod?

Hi Chaps,

 

This may be a silly question (especially knowing me), but would it be possible to fit a versapod bipod to the Ruger RPR?

 

If so, what bits would I need to do this?

 

And please don't say a bipod......

Versapod do a picatinny rail fixing.... But doesn't the RPR come with a QD stud attachment for the Sampson hand guard? Of so just use the normal versapod attachment

Yes , they come with a short section of rail , with a stud in the center for sling & harris bipods , just take it out , and then use all 3 bolts to attach to hand guard

I carry a lot of Samson bipod/sling swivel studs, as well as Keymod rail sections that should cover about everything :-)

I have one used it on my Ruger RPR and my AICS AX, very pleased and have since sold my Atlas

As far as I am concerned , any rifle that has a free floated tube type hand guard , ala , AI AX , or the RPR or any of the ARs 10/15 , all should use a low C of G bipod , either a center line , like the old Trigger50 design , ( elite iron ? ) , or a top rail like the Phoenix etc , as soon as I saw the 1st pics of the AI PSR gun , thats what I thought AI would design for that rifle , seemed a no-brainer to me .

 

But they did not .
