brown dog
A bit of a test. I think everyone should now be able to post pics from their computer directly into posts using the 'attach files' and 'choose files' buttons below followed by 'add to post' Example:

brown dog
Where is the attach files button? Mark, you'll have to use 'more reply options,' rather than quick reply, to see the button
bradders
I'm not seeing that button on my screen for some reason

gbal
Mark, Not sure I'll be able to do this photo malarky-as you note I prefer 1000 words (at least) but the 'more reply optons' button comes up for me after scrolling through the posts, past the last one (after the AI ad) to the blank quick reply box,and in the bottom right corner, next to Post -there it is More Reply Options
gunnery
I keep getting this file to big to load and it is only a photo
brown dog
I keep getting this file to big to load and it is only a photo It has to be less than 1MB - so you may need to resize it. (My Lucy pic was only 57kb)

Big Al
This is a great addition to the forum, Im sure it will encourage everyone to upload more pictures and avoid the need for "PM me for pictures" in many sales threads. The only thing I would suggest you consider is increasing the single file size limit. 1000KB means some people will need to resize their images first and this alone will be a bridge too far for some in terms of their IT skills. Even if you imposed no limit you wont really find it a drain on server space, storage is cheap these days and you will most likely have loads of space. It might also be useful to consider making a short tutorial and then sending a link by PM to all forum members so they are aware of this feature, you could also set up an automated welcome PM that all new members receive which again contains the link on posting pictures. The more aware members are and the easier you make things for them the more they will provide extra quality content over and above what they do already. A good move. brown dog
Just being pedantic, but isn't that her as Agent Romanov Oop. I 'admire' her in many of roles! Gratuitously unnecessary retest of the new pic system: Lucy:
