baldie
Finished this fat little chap last week. Its an Odin action, fitted with a Sassen 1 in 8" twist, fluted, parallel blank at 1.2" O/D. Screwcut 5/8" x 18 UNF and invisible capped. .223 Wylde. 20 MOA rail. Trigger is a Timney Calvin Elite. Stock is a Manners T5 adjustable and the paintwork is Ceracoat mil spec OD green. Fully bedded and fitted with a Tier one magazine ploorplate. Converted magazine in .223. Took it to the range and put 5 rounds of milsurp down it, cleaned it and then shot this with my standard load for an AR which is 24.5 grains of vhit 140 with a 77g SMK. Put it back in the bag. Big Al
17" Matt. Very pointable little gun indeed, helped by the thumbhole I think. At 17" is there no chance of muzzle flash or does it not really matter? Recently you said that a 16" AR in .223 would flash - is that why this one was 17"? The rifle looks great, right up my street!
