walkabout
Just finished this H&K 416 on Friday. A custom mix of Burnt Bronze and Graphite Black. The Mix changes the sheen of the Burnt Bronze. Mark

.300wm
What are these like in terms of reliability compared to a S&W MP15-22?

walkabout
I only have test fired it after putting it back together. I fired 30 rounds rapidly through it using 2 mags with 4 different ammo mixed randomly in the mags. Not a jam, not much of a test I know, just wanted to make sure it was back together properly. Very well made compared to some, and The owner raves about the reliability? Mark
Gandy
Certainly looks the part although wouldn't want the police to see me rabbiting with it!

Gandy
I would imagine they would get giddy but fair pint legally held and all that.
Offroad Gary
Whats going on with the sights? Is one looking through another (with iron sights just in case??)
Gundoc
(Wah shield on) The sight set up is an Eotech red dot/ holographic sight, the object behind it is a flip out magnifier- probably 3x. Quite a common set up on CQB rifles in the USA. With the irons as a back up obviously.
terryh
Looks nice - but God's teeth, it's got a lot of stuff hanging off it??
walkabout
The rifle did feel a bit heavy for what it was. The sights were great, the Eotech was the best sight of its type I have looked through and the Vortex magnifier excellent. The mount for it let you swing it away to the side, very clever. Not sure the irons are needed? Mark

Guest Stacka
Whats going on with the sights? Is one looking through another (with iron sights just in case??) It's effectively a doubler looking through a eotech. Both used for more than 70meters contact, then for CQM the "doubler" as it were flips down to make best use of the eotech in close situations. Not for me, I prefer a EBS type set up.
