spartan7510
anyone own one or shot with one? Been looking at the 308 version, seems like a nice modular chassis. Was also considering the AXMC rem 700 chassis, but this fortmeier looks good? would like to hear from other owners ow they shoot.

The Gun Pimp
"How they shoot?" Let's face it, most factory rifles are now capable of sub. MOA accuracy - with the right ammunition in the right hands, nearer half MOA. I doubt that any custom rifle builder would guarantee better than half MOA from a 308. The Fortmeier is probably intended to appeal to police tactical units and will undoubtedly shoot to this standard. There are plenty of similar rifles on offer in Europe. It really depends on what you want it for - as a play-gun, or as a serious tactical rifle or, as a comp. gun. If it's the former, you'll probably love it, if you're a copper, it'll do the job, if you're looking for an F Class comp. gun, there are better, cheaper options. M99
A couple of the GB .50cal team shoot them in .50bmg and they are very competitive in the big calibre.
