Guest Stacka
I'm looking at tubed stuff for my fox rifle. I'm thinking one of these..... http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/products-ATN-Night-Arrow-6x-Night-Vision-Riflescope-5859.htm Or one of these on my Swarovski http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/products-ATN-PS28-Night-Vision-Front-Mounted-Add-On-5877.htm I really can only afford £1500 - £1800

Guest Stacka
I just don't, iv been using digital for the last year. I'm comfortable with NV tubes
stillair1
Personally I would be cautious on the new front mounted unit myself until it is well tested in the open market. The history for front mounted units with reference to zero shift has not been too good so far if you search the forums.
Guest Stacka
Yeah I'd heard that. If any one has any other dedicated tubed experience please let me know
sussexsteve
I would save a few extra quid and buy a Pvs14 then mate. Out of curiosity what didn't you like about digital and what did you use ?
Guest Stacka
Iv had a play with them all, from Yukon Photon, to Armasight Drone, to X-Sight etc. I like the fact I can use a tubed NV with out the illuminator some of the time. I also over the years become really well ad versed to NV. Tubed gives much better depth and perception than digital in my opinion
camo304
As above you won't go far wrong with a Pvs14, dedicated tubed been there afew times but end up back with a

camo304
Dedicated it is then, tubed best Raptor 4/6x or a D760 if 760 try and get the manual gain model. Both very good bits of kit one Mil-spec the other com, but for your budget i think you are looking at a Drone

AnthonyR
There is a brand new product available that will enable the the PVS-14 to be front mounted: http://tplogic.com/products/commercial/tps-optical-solution-commercial/ If it is suitable in this case I don't know but it looks interesting.
