Tikka 260
Hi All This unlucky fox came bimbling along at last light, just as I was preparing to call it quits in a ladder seat, noticed the limping and generally uncertain movement, so took it out, nothing long range, about 120 metres, but it looks as tho I might actually have done it a favour. dogfox
Well done.I have had a fox like this and a few deer aswell. It might be RTA or it could have been that it was caugth up on a fence and snapped his leg.I know that most of the deer that have had a back leg missing, that is the reason. kip270
Good Shooting, just shows how they can adapt and still carry on with life, you have to admire them
6mmBR
More than likely an RTA, nature is a wonderfully adaptive thing as the fox bar its 3 legs looks remarkably fit. Cheers dave

charly hunter
I have been out with Varminter and my son when he shot a foxes back leg off and it ran through the cauliflower, we followed it and when found it was just walking away from us so my son finished it off with a shot gun. It's amazing how much punishment these animals can take and still survive
