dogfox Posted May 27, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 27, 2007 308 yes I try to estimate age.I look to shoot the young bucks so It keeps the tree damage to a mimimun.I then have a look at the older bucks and if there is anything looking rough I replace him with a younger buck.This ground has not been shot before and the ground around it is not shot so I have a lot of deer trying to move in on the ground.Which is good news for me . v-max Posted May 27, 2007 Report Share Posted May 27, 2007 Well done dogfox it look's a young lad i do the same on 1 of my bit's of ground & i get alot of young roe pushed in on my marches but neighbour's & my own big buck's.The rest of my ground is smallish on the edge of wood's & deer come in to feed so i take fit i get the chance off.
