She has been dropping round for a while now, drops in on foxing2night also (we live 3 houses away). Has been tempting to shoot, but she does no harm and im a believer in live and let live.

Had a similar experience at work last year..i even put an extra sandwich up for him <_<

Me and my mate from work had our bait outside last week on nightshift and were joined by a young fox.

The little fella turned up again last night and shared a cornish pasty with me.

He got so close, picking things up he thought was food that at 1 point he grabbed my foot under the table little sod.

Pics off my mates phone so not the best quality, will have to take my digi camera in next time on nights..

That couldn't have been a proper Cornish pasty, if it was you wouldn't have shared it with no one let alone a fox ;) proper ones are too good to share pard :lol:;)

hey nige,do you think he leaves a bit of crust on when he,s finished? i suppose you could pick him up after as he would not be able to move after a"proper cornish " !!<_<:D

If it's not a problem to anyone then leave it IMO. They're really cool animals to watch, and it's not their fault they're such a pain for farmers etc. If it's a city fox then who's it bothering?

Sorry to .. well urr... are you lot batting for the other side.

You need to speak to one of the urban fox pest control specialists.

I receive dozens of calls from town folk. They often don’t cause a problem in the gardens they are fed in. but to other’s it is a different story. Some of the problem calls I get:

Bins raided.

Fox crap everywhere young kids come in with it on them.

Damage to shrubs, plants, watering systems and lighting systems, pond liners.

Cat predation. This is a bigger problem than most people think and it's getting worse.

Foxes becoming to tame, will come onto the lawn in the day when young kids are sat there eating. Actually going into the client’s house through a cat flap or open door during the day to get food.

Underming a shed or out buildind.

Living under the house.

Health risk to pets and children.

Howling and screaming at night.

Sorry to enlighten you but I would estimate:

20% love them 60% don't care and 20% have a real problem with them.

They are not the same foxes we see in the country side. They think differantly and behave differantly. ;)

Call an urban fox control specialist ?

Urban foxes are easier to trap, im sure most of us have access to a cage trap. I know i do.

A .22lr out the window will also do the job, im sure urban foxes ain't bulletproof.

I understand what your saying but im sorry, they don't to me or my neighbours any harm. If one of them wants rid, im sure they can spend their hard earned cash on a pest controller. As for me, they are not doing me harm so i wont inflict any on them.

All the best,

Jay.
