sako 75 .243
Hi guys When your working out your drop charts do you zero at 100 or 200?....if so what are the pros and cons?..or does it really matter? cheers Glenn
247sniper
Hi glen, IT depends on calibre and intended use. For long range vermin etc I find a 200 yard zero provides better results when dialing in. A slightly incorrect zero at 100 yard zero can provide problems the further out you go. Sub 300 yard and you may not notice no pronlems. Steve

The_Dogge
For dialling in you want to zero so that all your corrections are in the same direction, this is usually 100m. You can always calibrate it by shooting at a longer distance, if you label your turret the concept of a zero in the usual sense is redundant.
