davo
Anybody use either the RCBS Chargemaster 1500 combo dispenser/scale OR the Lyman 1200 DPS 3, any recommendations for either OR do most folks just use a powder dispenser and separate electronic or manual scales. Streeker59
I use the Lyman 1200. Found it to be spot on every time. Downside is you have to wait 30 mins for it to warm up before use and it dispenses quite slowly. Had it 3 years and never given any trouble... Redfox
Have the dps 1200,works fine and just fitted the speedup kit, the new ones have it in already, quite fast enough for anybody now. the 30 min warm up is to allow the measuring circuit to stabilise, any that dont do this will drift over time giving different results, it is a fact of life if you want accuracy. njc110381
I quite like weighing each load from the powder thrower. It may take a little time but I don't use that many rounds. As I'm new to it maybe there's a little bit of a honeymoon period thing going on. Give me a few months and I may get p***** off with it
