Ronin Posted April 5, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2013 Yeah, fortunately the cracks in the receiver are only on the surface Barrel, isn't an archer, as I've just ordered one in 6.5 from Border (so I can convert this to 6.5x47) and had to supply measurements to replicate the barrel (no criticism by the way) I suspect its Lothar Walther - whatever it is, it shoots! Oh, 20" by the way - MV with my usual 155 Scenar load is a little down - 2825 fps......still get there though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I specified I would only have a Border on the AX I,ve ordered to be delivered later in the year. I,ve gone for a 20" plain with the new brake. Great pics buddy. Dave, the Walther does shoot fine, honest, its holding sub .5 MOA easy, real easy, closer to .4 in reality, which is good for how I shoot it..
