Sako A1 222rem

I am selling my Sako A1 in 222. The action was re-barreled last year with a Border stainless fluted tube. At that time the action and bottom metal was stripped and re-blued. Rifle is screw cut and comes with an A tech modular moderator. On top is a Leupold 4.5x14 scope with dialable turrets and butler creeks, scope is sat in a set of third eye rings.

 

I have used it with 40gn bergers so as to be child friendly for the boys. It shoots those into a .3" group. The rifle is a tack driver with just about any bullet ive tried.

 

Only bad point is the moderator, num nutts here chucked it in the ultrasonic to see if it would clean it up and it stripped the annodising off some of it. I have also removed one of the modules from it as it made no difference to the noice and made it shorter.

 

Otherwise its a cracking wee rifle.
