hi there i have seen alot of posts with photos attached i tryed to ad a photo to a post i wrote and it keeps comung up as an attachment any help please

Hi Dan. I've copied to you what Vermincinerator sent to me on how to post pics ..

 

The main factor is that you have to uplaod your pics to a picture hosting site first, i use Hunt 101;

After hosting your pics you copy and paste the direct link address by clicking on what looks like a small TV screen symbol next to the URL address under the heading Linked Thumbnail.

Four different URL adresses will appear you want the last one.

 

Once copied you need to open the insert image box on your UKV reply by clicking on the second symbol of the second group from the right under where it says fonts.

A user prompt box will appear in the top left of your screen with "http.//" highlighted in blue and pulsing, you must delete this first before pasting the URL, once done click okay and the address will appear in the reply dialog box.

Test it by clicking on "Preview post" box and the picture should appear in the preview after a few seconds.

There may be a simpler way of doing it but this is the method i use and it works every time also on other forums.

thanks for that i shall do this in the future am out foxing tonight so hopefully there will be some pics to put up soon

It also sizes you pics down to an acceptable size,

Used with most boards,emails,forums and groups

 

Relativley simple and easy to follow directions.
