roeboy
Could I ask what loads you are using in your 7-08 Case Primer Bullet Thanks Neil hello yes using Federal Premium Gold Medal primers norma brass 120 grain nosler ballistic tip 46 grains vhit n140 i tried some 120 v max but i just cant get em to shoot better than 1.5 inch groups, its a jump thing i think but not sure i can be bothered. i got a load sorted with 100g varminter sierras with 48g of powder which is a good fox round. shoots bout half inch groups and prints about 1.25 inch exacty high of ballistic tip zero which is handy. its pretty hot that tho, so start lower, although i didnt get any pressure signs. I always think if im getting half inch groups its prob more to do with me wobbling than the gun so i dont worry much beyond that. word of warning tho, the ballistic tips blow big exits out of roe and liquidises the vitals. i dont mind cos i like em dead where they are so im not searching in the woods for them, but it might not be everyones cup of tea. mattrem700
Morning !! Here's my stick guy's... It first started its life as a .308 VS Rem 700 , was then bedded into a HS Precision stock and a Rifle Basix trigger fitted , it was used for long range targets and stalking in Scotland . A S & B 3-12 x50 Pm11 was put on top of it , this was then sold in a moment of madness !!! Since then it has been re-barrelled into the popular 6.5 x47 Lap , Ive only shot 40 x 100gr lapua factory loads to fireform my brass and to start running in the barrel . It was starting to print around a 1" group at 150 m , not stunning but on the right track hopefully !! Now waiting for a Redding Comp Bullet seater too arrive then we shall see some proper accuracy with some load development .. Recently got my hands on a 5.5-22 x 56 Nightforce with Zero stop MLR ret and Mrad adjustment , well chuffed !! Here she be !!

gun nut
Just finished a stock conversion to DM on my HS Precision. Gave it a raised comb, modified grip and a new paint job in the process. The action is a Stiller Predator, barrel is Lothar Walther 24" 1 in 8" twist, Third eye Spartan from Craig, March 2.5-25x42 tac from Gary Costello, and the rifle was screwed together by Mike Norris. Shoots 120grn Nosler BT's about 1/3 moa and 95vmax's a tad better depending on whether I'm having an on or off day! (Excuse the angled photo's, photobuckets edit suit doesn't seem to have all the features of PS7 so I couldn't straighten them out with the crop tool.)
