taylor Posted March 13, 2012 Report Share Posted March 13, 2012 the 284 is a good caliber to start f-open and is the only caliber you will ever need to shoot all distances it doesnt beet the wsm on cutting through the wind but it beets it in better vertical and great barrel life and top notch accuracy .if you are on your A game that day for wind reading it will beat anything out their i just wish the rules allowed us to string shoot like the rest of the world as it would make the 284 even better the 6.5x47 is a great caliber but for f-open you realy need a 7mm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
