baldie Posted November 12, 2011 Report Share Posted November 12, 2011 Finished this today.. Not my usual bag, but an F class gun. Its a surgeon XL single shot action. I,ve welded up the ejector hole to allow more ooomph. Barrel is a Bartlien gain twist at 30" , and trigger is an extended blade jewel BR. Stock is a Roberston GBR and in my opinion, a bag of crap. The finish was appalling on a £1000 stock. I did try and talk the customer out of it, as it was never designed for such a large action, and to be honest was a right ###### to make fit. Its pillar and devcon bedded with a custom stainless escutcheon on the front fixing bolt. Calibre ? 7mm-300WSM. The customer and i specced up the reamer according to his needs and bullet choice. Academic really as the customer really wanted his own, as its probarbly gonna get a lot of use ..... Ya gotta love these 800 round barrels.....now where did i put that range rover catalogue.....
