Hi 308

We have ex-Lax here but it aint that, they are like wheatmeal biscuits (cookies to you) covered in chocolate (so chocolate covered cookies)

I remember once when we were kids (5 of us) my mum came in and said "who has eaten all the chocolate from the pantry" no-one answered, later that night my younger sister came through to use the toilet (it was outside in those days) half an hour later she came through again, 5 mins later............ etc etc, guess who had eaten the chocolate (Ex-Lax) :)

Ha, yeah I was a little bit skeptical of 'digestives' when first offered, which was along with the cup of hot tea with milk on a warm summer's day in Lanarkshire. They're kind of like a cookie, a sweet baked flat biscuit. A good digestive will hold together when dunked in a cup of tea. I prefer hob nobs!

Here in the UK, when someone comes thru your door, after the pleasantries, you offer them a cup of tea, or possibly coffee. Then biscuit or cakes. Which can come in the form of digestives, hob nobs, bourbons, jammy dodgers, jaffa cakes, and the custard cremes. mmm..If you do not go thru this ritual, you will be considered a degenerate.

By the way, hello Tikka, welcome to the UKV site eh! You never know where the conversation is going to go...
