The weather looked a bit ropey on the drive up to Blair Athol but it was dry, no mist and the wind didn't appear to strong. Greeted by 20series (nice to meet you :D ) and saw a few well known names and faces inc Mik Mak, Stuart Anslem, amongst others.

I think Mrs 357 secretly enjoyed the trip as well judging by the questions all the way home.

Glen Tilt has to be one of the most picturesque ranges in the UK if not Europe. Some pictures below

Good to see the regular faces there.

Taking a year out this season,

Athol, switching wind..........just look at the RH flag......

It was a hard day indeed with the wind very tricky to read.

The 4.9's were taking the pi55 a bit though.

The weather looks interesting tomorrow.

Well done to all the winners both F open and F/TR.

It was a fantastic weekend with great company as ever, giving a great chance to catch up with old friends and to make some new ones.

The range is one of the most beautifull I have shot on but has a sting in its tail.

It was a hard match and as ever there was a bit of luck in when you were squadded to shoot.

As ever in the league it was good shooting in good company.

Mike great photo's and look forward to seeing you on the range next year.

Cheers

Dave

I got back from my mini tour of the UK this afternoon after a 1500 mile round trip!

As ever Blair is a stunning place to shoot, but it's also the stuff of nightmares.

The big achievement of the weekend was in no doubt Laurie Holland. Laurie managed a 4th place in FTR using a 223, he also managed a 96.9 on Sunday to win the detail and finished with the highest V bull count overall in FTR, think about it, a .223 at 1000 yards at Blair! Well done Laurie.

Indeed, well done Laurie. What an achievement!

Hope everybody didn't get caught up in the crash that happened on the A9 around 16.30! I beleive the road was shut for 2.5 hours!

Anyway, some more pics.

It was a great weekend. The crack made up for my poor shooting.

See you for the long range Grant and Danny will give you a bel in the week if you fancy a practice target Saturday afternoon before the Dorset shoot.

Cheers
