New York Pheasant

pheasy breast with bbq sauce and melted mature cheddar!!

 

local gamey had some pheasants in his catchers the other day so offered em to me ......i kinda was expecting it because i promised it make him pheasy jerky and he loves it

 

so got a heap to make jerky but the wife asked if i was using it all so i gave her 4 fillets or 2 whole pheasant breasts

 

sat down to my tea of new york pheasant with mash and steamed veg

 

AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

take yer pheasant breast and wrap in either smoked bacon or prosccuito or parma ham

cook in a oven on baking tray @ 180C to 200 C for 20 mins ish

then remove baste in bbq sauce and grated mature cheddar then stick under grill till melted

 

serve with mash and veg

 

or whatever floats yer boat

 

this was bloody ace
