  1. OCW Target

I don't know if it's of any help to anyone but I've developed my own OCW target in A4 printable format. It's here for anyone who wants to use it:
  2. Hi. I have been a member of a shooting club for a while now where we have a 25m and a 50m indoor ranges. I have been waiting 23 weeks to date for my FAC and have been told it's been approved. Could be here any day. I have decided that for the 25/50 ranges I want a CZ 0.22LR with varmint barrel and laminated thumb hole stock with a Nikko Serling 3-12 x 56 sight. I have also requested a 0.308 for my license which I want to use for target shooting. I really want to shoot at 200m+ but other than Yoxter up on Mendip know of no other ranges and have no idea how to get to shoot at Yoxter (Military). My ticket will not be open, so I will only be able to shoot at Home Office Approved ranges. I live near Bristol; can anyone here recommend any ranges ? I want to garner some club style tuition and possibly compete in some low level fun matches perhaps . I guess without some form of competition one has no measure of improvement. I want to buy a 308 that will be reasonably accurate up to say 800m. I've drooled over Accuracy International guns, but get the impression that they are going to be beyond my means. Any suggestions on a good gun that won't need upgrading too soon. I do like wood and would always favour a wooden stock over synthetic. Most of my club friends have sporting 308s which have to cool down after 3 rounds, so a heavy barrelled gun is important to me. Suggestions on optics would be appreciated for the 308. I am quite keen to do my own reloads, not just to save dosh, but also to make my ammunition perfect for my shooting requirements. I really like the idea of the experimenting with creating the perfect rounds. Any tips on how to get started without breaking the bank? Thanks Ralph
  3. AR500 Target

  4. For sale is a very accurate Tubb 2000 Spec-Tac-LR. I have owned the rifle for a few years now after going through the ordeal of importing it myself from the US. I have used it for stalking, vermin control and long range plinking but it is equally suited to target shooting. (Bullet count is around 500) I do not do much rifle shooting any more which is the reason for the sale. The basic information is as follows.... Tubb 2000 Spec-Tac-LR in 6mmXC. Scope NOT included 24" 1-7.5 twist rate barrel designed for heavy bullets. (I have predominantly been using 105 A-Max) Fully adjustable chassis system allowing for a comfortable fit to suit any right handed shooter. Anschutz trigger which is fully adjustable from single stage to two stage and adjustable blade position and pull weight. Threaded in 5/8UNF for a moderator NOT included. £3,250 Below is a link to 3 youtube videos about this rifle by one of the designers, David Tubb. Some of the features explained are not included in the sale such as the bi-pod and muzzle break. View full playlist (3 videos)

  7. Hi all TARGET RIFLE and F-Class Shooters The NLRC is organising the Reload Swiss Easter Meeting 2016, and it will fall on the weekend 26-28 March 2016 at Bisley. We hope that you will feel able to support the event to make it a success under the North’s leadership. Our principal sponsor is Reload Swiss this year, hence the name change. Because of the sponsorship, the number of competitions and the value and number of prizes have increased. As well as individual competitions there are team competitions, and there are Under 25 competitions. There are planned to be over 100 prizes across TR and F Classes. We are hoping the Meeting will attract a good number of entries from the UK and abroad. There are special reduced entry fees for shooters under 25 in full time education, including those at university. We intend largely to use private markers and provide supervision in the butts. We hope that will ensure an appropriately high standard of marking. We have attach the F-Class Programmes and Entry Forms. The TARGET RIFLE (TR) Programme and Entry Form is in the first reply. The closing date for entries is 5'th March so that we can adjust target requirements with the NRA. Hope to see you at Easter! 8. Rifle Remington 700 SPS Varmint .243 Includes 20” Barrel, Threaded with Target Crown & Flush Thread Protector Laminate Varmint Thumbhole Stock (Devcon Pillar Bedded, Free-Floated Barrel Channel) Reflex T8 Suppressor Detachable Bottom Metal (Accepts AI Mags) Custom Tactical Bolt Handle Picatinny Rail Metalwork Duracoated Flat Black Slip to accept rifle (incl. scope & bipod) Condition I’ve owned from new (2yrs) & it includes the original box & Edgar Brother’s documentation. Barrel has been shortened and threaded with a target crown by Dave at Valkyrie. Custom bolt handle fitted by Brock & Norris. Duracoating done by Jager Sporting Arms. Round count is 690, the bore is still in great condition and is extremely accurate. The action is very smooth and feeds perfectly from the detachable bottom metal / floorplate. The stock is new and only has a couple of minor scrapes. The barrelled action has slight cosmetic marking (from suppressor fitment etc.) but is in very good used condition. The whole rifle is extremely accurate and performs flawlessly. Regretful sale but can't justify ownership anymore. Cost over £1,800 to build. Asking only £600 ONO! Call: 07595 468063 Thanks, Richard
  9. I was wondering if anyone had an unwanted SCATT training system, used to improve position etc for target shooting?
