    New rifle in build :-)

So have recently decided that I am fed up with TR, and having been playing with a home built F-TR rifle at my local clubs I have decided to jump into the F-Open world. I miss competing at a good level, and from everything I can tell the F class circuit if full of fun and friendly people.... So I spent a lot of time scouring this and other sights researching actions, calibres etc. and here is what I settled on: Barnard P in RBLP .284" Win with .318 neck (To just 'clean up' the necks in turning) Throat for the 180 Berger Joe West Stock 1:9 5C barrel @ +-31" And of course Mik took all of my money as a result, but I hope that I will have the rifle as quickly as Joe can supply the stock... So now I need to ponder the question of what rest and glass? The obvious answer seems to be a Seb Neo and either March or NF scope - what would you choose and why?

  6. Just got wind of a first Long Range competition in NW Poland in September which unfortunately clashes with the F-Class Europeans this year but may be of interest for the tactical rifle guys. Besides Tactical and F-Class categories, there is also a Magnum class up to .338 "including the 7mm magnums", thereby shifting them out of the Open Class.
