    Turret marking

Hello, I have an ex millitary Schmidt and Bender 3-12x50 on a Haenel Jager 10 in .243. The scope is in metres and minutes of angle and does not ballistically match the calibre. I have worked out the fall of shot to the clicks at 100-350m (I don't envisage shooting anything above that range) as a sniper telephone number doesn't really work for this, and I'm not a fan of dope charts, does anybody know of a company/person who does professional marking. I've tried but it's a bit "Tommy aged 31/2!!!!" Thanks in advance for your assistance and feedback. Lewis.
  2. For sale is my Tikka T3 Hunter in .243 win. This was my first stalking rifle but has had very little use with around 350 rounds through it, hence the decision to sell it. It is a standard RH T3 Hunter complete with a T8 moderator and Sako Optilock rings. The scope is a Leupold VX-L 4.5-14x50 with a varminter ballistic reticule. The rifle is in very good condition as is the moderator and scope due to them seeing very little use. The Leupold scope is very clear and the ballistic reticule works very well with 100gn Federal blue box ammunition. The rifle is now with my RFD so extra pictures will need to be taken when I'm next over there if required. The rifle can also be sent RFD-RFD at buyers cost. I'm asking for £1000 ono for the whole package. I would like to sell the items as a package. Thanks, Sean.
  3. Just got some today as been waiting for them they finally came in . So heads up if your waiting for them HPS has them . Standing one next to a 105 Amax its bearing surface is dramatically shorter / hard to measure it but in rough terms its about 2 thirds . But the boat tail looks a smidgen longer on tmk . Length wise 105 Amax is 1.244 tmk is 1.183 thou . Not sure about other peoples throat but mines .104 freebore so seating these near the lands could not be an option , hopefully theyl like a slight jump . The plus side of the shorter bearing surface is they may stabilize in slower twists , the box says 9 twist or faster but cant help thinking about a 10 twist ? Anyways there here ... Atb

  6. Hi all I have a mauser M03 in .243 winchester, 1:10 twist (switch barrel design sporter with long action) and I am looking ahead to when the barrel is worn out. Is it possible to ream the barrel out to another calibre to give new life to it in say 6.5 or 260 or .30 cal or should i stump up for a new one? Current use of the rifle is primarily deer and fox and then some targets. here is an instructional link if you are unfamiliar with the M03 - cheers Andrew
