I think it's a great idea, and have been considering buying one of these for a while. There's a feeling with .22LR ammo that you get what you're given, but with this the ammunition can be refined.
Thanks for the pointer, I've gone with the lansky, partially because I could cope if I lost it. Initial impressions are that it's perfectly good for an every day carry, especially as it comes in at a price where you're not reluctant to use it.
My heavy barreled finnfire shoots very similar groups to yours with those types of ammunition. I would say winchester was your best brand from the above results. I've found eley sport (green box) to be pretty good too.
If I can get some, I'll be using SK in future, but there's none for sale locally.
Good lord! The spyderco UK penknife has gone up a lot in price compared to a couple of years ago - I was planning on buying one, not now though!
I think the Lansky is more of an every day carry for me, but must admit to being swayed by the subdued looks of the boker plus!
