The cheapest one as I assumed customs would be on top. -
New Tract Toric UHD 4.5-30x56 - thoughts?

I purchased the 4-20x50, it’s an excellent scope, I had a huge amount of support from John with import and export. They are very helpful when you loose zero stop screws etc and just send them out. You will have to pay customs fees somehow. I genuinely felt that they wanted you to be happy with the product. I would consider buying another. -

There are adapters that cost a fiver a pop, bushwear sell them. I find this proprietary nonsense really frustrating as I’d quite like to be able to use any harness I want after forking out considerable sums for the binos. They could at least be included. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323986277794

Wind damage at Eskdalemuir
tubby10 replied to Popsbengo's topic in Target Shooting & Informal Long Range Shooting Practice
Is Eskadale muir range not planned to close anyway and the new range that’s being built to take over in April? Mark was taking people round it last Saturday. It would certainly be a real shame to loose the opportunity to use this sort of facility. -

There are plenty of more experienced folk to comment but I have a 243 and use 108eldm bullets at 2850fp. It is great fun, performs consistently until it goes subsonic . I have got a 1/8 bartlein barrel from dolphin that shoots far better than I can hope to. with regards to expansion very difficult to say. I use 103 eld x bullets and they are also excellent but were far more expensive at time of purchase so I only use them for stalking ( 2880fps). Things I have shot have fallen over and that has been that, appreciate others may have a different experience. honestly I think the smaller the calibre you can use for the job the better. The joy of using far less powder and cheaper bullets as the chap using the 338 next to you curses after every shot at the same target is fairly unique. appreciate the 243 isn’t fashionable but it does work. If I had a 223 or 224 valk that could do the same job then I would use that.

Mine was relatively quick 3 days via amazon, are you sure you want to do this though? I was very happy not knowing what everything looked like inside and it’s made me paranoid. you can’t un-see all that fouling you thought you’d scrubbed away.

If this hasn’t already gone or falls through, I would be keen to take the 308 brass. Many thanks
