  1. Given the price of a new barrel I would say £250 - £300.
  2. I have had a !7 Fireball and now have a 17 Hornet. Fireballs were always few and far between and now Brass is an issue. If you want a 17 get a Hornet then you won't have any ammunition problems, not as potent as the Fireball but still very capable. I sold my Fireball and regretted it so bought a 17 Hornet and it does what I want, shortish range Foxes and longer range Crows.
  3. No it was done by Neil McKillop, he did two I believe one for himself and yours. It came in a standard A1 Sako wooden stock which I sold and replaced with the McMillan.
  4. Yes it was, lovely rifle never worked out why I sold it since it went!! I now have an HW66 17 Hornet.
  5. I got this SH but as new just before Covid and have used it three times, it is absolutely as new and has the extra battery compartment so it can run off CR123 or 18650 batteries. I have got out of the habit of going out at night so this is just sat in a cupboard, I haven't been out since Covid lockdown. I have 3 Rusan adaptors for it for 44mm, 50mm & 56mm objective scopes and they are rock soild. Works on any scope very well, it is cased. Pics by WhatsApp.£1000 collected or will post at cost.

    Fox Cubs

Thx I have shot a lot for him over the years and the biggest issue is with Cubs, they have no fear and are totally unpredictable. as to what time of day they turn up.

    Fox Cubs

Had a call today from a guy I know who has had a load of Poultry killed in the daytime, anyone seen Cubs out and about?
  8. FAC Air is a lot safer than 22lr around housing, 22 Rimfire will ricochet for fun of almost anything. I bought an FAC airgun for that very reason.
  9. Boxed with lens covers, lens cloth, sunshade and a BC flip up. Excellent condition, no ring marks a couple of tiny tiny marks. Pics by What's App. I bought it for a NV set up but then came CV19 and that was that, I got out of the habit of trailing round in the dark at all hours! None Zero Stop. £800 posted RMSD or £780 collected.
  10. A 30 ft lb FAC Airgun is safe round habitation, 22 lr's are not. Also good for up into trees with common sense.
  11. Just order one through your RFD, you most certainly won't regret it.
  12. They have been replaced by his front add on which are very good.
  13. It was dark, I know they have good Night vision but it can't be perfect?
  14. I use a 4 - 16 x 44 Hawke Compact on my 17 Hornet with a Pard 007 and they are a very good match. https://uk.hawkeoptics.com/airmax-30-sf-compact-4-16x44-amx-ir.html
  15. Add should be in Classifieds if you still want to sell it.
  16. Wrong section but if you want to go Thermal keep this and stick on a Pulsar add on. I have the same scope and do the same but with a Digistalker Digital add on, it really is the best of both worlds. https://www.scottcountry.co.uk/thermal-imaging/thermal-imager-add-ons/
