On the subject of the ever-controversial Julian, I too have to throw in my tuppence-ha'penny worth:
In my dealings with him he was totally sound and obliging. When I bought my Archer from him, rather than take as much cash from me as possible, he advised me soundly against spending more money than necessary on an unnecessarily high spec. Then, AFTER having my cash in his account, he casually told me that, if after a week I wasn't satisfied, he'd refund me.
