  1. The newer IOR Vulcan does not have the naff paint like finish,it's more the anodised finish the glass is SUPERB German Schott glass I must have dialed mine elevation/ windage thousands of times and it goes back to zero no probs..Yes mine had to go back to Romania for repair (the damage was my fault) it was returned sorted and delivered back free of charge..hope this helps cheers πŸ‘
  2. I have an i.o.r 6x24x56 Vulcan had it over 2 years now ,great glass and accurate tracking.I unfortunately dropped it and damaged the windage turret OPW didn't have spares so off it went back to Romania it was returned after 11 weeks via OPW and sorted free of charge and of delivery costs with new turret and tracking check .apart from the naff paint like finished you get quality German Schott glass ..I would buy another cheers πŸ‘
  3. Advise from SACS if your farmer/ landowner is willing to sign a letter saying your activity is essential then it is.if they won't then clearly it is not cheers

  6. Hi guys I am lucky to have safe ground where I can shoot rabbits out to 600yrds and I use a.223 with 69gr tmks . presently I use strelok Pro with reasonable success if I do my part...my question is would I gain any benefit from using a KESTREL ballistics ? Or other than wind do any of the other factors ,temp, pressure.humidity really matter at these ranges? Thanks in advance
  7. Hi Guys .Thinking about treating myself to 6.5 cm and like the look of the SABATTI ROVER TACTICAL .my question is if the Mrr rifling is so great ie accurate, faster velocities, longer barrel life why don't other companies like tikka, remington, savage and winchester adopt this method?.I would like to get the opinions of any SABATTI owners ? ps sorry if this topic has already been flogged to death
  8. No just the postage to optics warehouse .I got a call on Tuesday from OW to check the return address and it was delivered by dpd yesterday,I thought that I would be paying p+p and repair/parts as a new turret was fitted so yes o was delighted . cheers πŸ‘
  9. Scope returned yesterday via OPTICS WAREHOUSE..all sorted new turret fitted and inspite of me accidentally damaging it repair done FREEOFCHARGE...so IOR customer service ain't so bad after all.. cheers
  10. As I mentioned earlier my scope was the mutts nuts and worked perfectly in all aspects until I dropped it and damaged the windage turret . Personally I wouldn't have thought it wouldn't have been a problem to drop a replacement turret in a jiffy bag and send it to me(I can buy hawke or sightron turrets easily) but no it had to be sent back to the factory .I thought when optics warehouse said expect 3 months I thought they were being .. overly cautious.. and that I would have it returned sooner . only to be told on Monday that IOR are ... dealing with it.... whatever that means If only their customer service was the same quality as their glass cheers πŸ‘ .
  11. Hi varmLR Can you please tell me if you know how long the guys with the ..CRUSADERS.. had to wait for the return of their scopes? . that's me 3 months now .cheers
  12. I had no issues with the glass.the turrets aren't overly clicky but they are positive and accurate and certainly not mushy.. indeed I have no complaints about the scope it's a great piece of kit . zero stop is not something that I need or use I know how many turns I'm on .my issues are with IOR C's.ie not answering emails , if I hadn't damaged the scope myself I would never found out how bad they are .... unlike Optics warehouse.. from where I purchased the scope, hopefully when it returns I won't drop it again and I'll never have to deal with their customer service again....PS some of the guys in my club have nfs /s&b/kahles/Steiner/vortex etc and the glass is comparable with any of these cheers
  13. I have a ior 6x24x56 ffp scope that I accidently dropped [AAAAAAAARGH] great scope great glass , but the damage was to the windage turret I contacted ..OPTICS WAREHOUSE.. who asked IOR to send over a turret that I could have fitted myself .After one month of no response from the factory it was advised to send it back to ROMANIA for repair with a 3 month wait [which seems excessive ]all though no fault of OPTICSWAREHOUSE .So ten weeks have passed and I wait with baited breath on the return of my scope so watch this space?
