  1. Gentlemen, Many of you will have known Hugh Forgie, who passed away recently. His Widow, Margaret, has asked me to post these two pairs of Leica binoculars for sale; Leica 7x42 Trinovid binoculars With neck strap Recently serviced Excellent condition £600 including postage Leica 8 x 42 Trinovid binoculars with neck strap Excellent condition Soft black case included £600 including postage Contact: mag.forgie@gmail.com I can email photo's if required. Regards to all, Des. "Desparado"
  2. Hi "204", There is a product that may fit your needs, it is available via Brownells - a 3" wide plastic block that attaches via a swivel stud. Harris supply swivel studs to fit the Anschutz rail. It is rather dear for all that is though; >£50! If you were at all handy you might make one. Cheers. https://www.brownells.co.uk/Shooting-Accessories/Shooting-Rests/Shooting-Rest-Accessories
  3. I wish I'd known him.... we might have been related. "Desparado".
  4. Hi "Bianchi", The packaging simply says "KVB-7", "LR Standard" there are no further abbreviations. The outer packaging is red & white, and has the bar code: 4 600053 004275, LOT 1-03. Some more recent ones from John Carmichael of HPS have the same bar code, from LOT 24-10. The newer packaging is broadly similar, more trade marks and with less emphasis on being non-corrosive. I've never felt the need to use magnums in the .284 or WSM, but several other guys swear by magnums...so you decide.. Cheers.
  5. Hi Laurie, Yes, I've been using the KVB-7s since 2009. They are now marketed as PMCs, but come from the same "Murom Apparatus" plant in Russia. In the time since then, I've used about 7,000 of them. I've never had any hang-fires or any problems, I reckon they are excellent. Precision Shooting did a test a few years ago and found they produced an exceptionally small spark. Cheers.
  6. +1 Yes indeed, a very well rounded article.
  7. Hi,

Did you get my Pm about the Bipod?

    Mike
