Afternoon all, finally managed to sign in after months of trying🤬. Anyway, does anyone have or know anyone who can make a rail for my sako m591? The older contessa rail for the 75/85 action use to work but speaking to Alan Rhone today he told me they have altered the tolerances on the new rails to be a better fit for the 85 actions so making it no good for the m591! Just sent back the new rail as it was about 10mm away from allowing me to open the bolt.(shouldn't have sold my old one) I have optiloc bases and seen rails to fit them but again it's for the 75/85action and the holes are 109mm center to center and my bases are tight on and are 104mm c to c. I have now run out of ideas on how to get a rail on my rifle without sending it to a Smith and even then I'm not sure what they can do? Any help appreciated ATB dave
