    CZ 527 Bolt handle

Just collected my 527 223 from Steve Kershaw . He kindly fitted a tactical bolt handle at my request whilst rebarrelling . Steve had to first make a mandrel to enable turning. Check out the fit and scope clearance . The scope has a 43mm objective and a pard fitting installed.

    Ultra sonic Cleaning units

I have had the GT sonic 3 litre for a couple of weeks and it seems to do the job but as I haven't had one before I have nothing to compare it to. The only thing I will say is it's called 3 litre but it only takes 2 litres of fluid
  9. Yes he does and I also have a lot of time for the 243 and I don't believe it gives anything away to the newer hot 6's, least not any margin that I can sensibly exploit. The one issue i'm having is spotting missed shots(yes I admit I miss sometimes 😀) on what I can only describe as 'dumb' targets that give little to no splash. There is also less report for a hit at extended range wit the 6mm. From observation the heavier 6.5 cal bullets seem to help a little in this respect. That's why i'm looking at 6.5 and from what I can see in the main from real world users the creedmoor is not offering huge velocity gains over the 47. I already share a 47 with my son but its a right hand bolt so it would seem sensible to stay with 47. Or look at the next step up in performance and cartridge size. Then I think you are entering the realms of recoil V ballistics and ability to spot fall of shot unless used in a heavier rifle which I want to avoid. Interesting that the trend in the US seems to be a move toward 6mm though for PRS comps?

    Ultra sonic Cleaning units

Hi, decided to try Ultrasonic cleaning, but my first unit packed up after only 4 or 5 cycles. Amazon refunded straight away, but don't want to go thru the hassle again, just want a unit that works! Looking at the GT Sonic 6 Litre unit', it has 60 day no hassle return and 18 months replacement warranty, but I just want it to work. Any one running one of these units or something similar? There appear to be several models of this make, and a lot of others that look exactly like it on Amazon. What is every one else using, and do they stand up to use? M

Look at Alan Rhone - Recknagel are excellent. Cheap rails are a waste of money on a quality rifle.
