  11. Vortex strike eagle 5-25x56 in Mrad. These are one of best scopes available in their price point for long range hunting, competition or plinking. I've used this for competitive PRS shooting where I regularly achieved podium positions. The scope has a few cosmetic marks and scratches from the nature of prs shooting but still works flawlessly. There are a couple of slight witness marks on the objective lense which do not detract from the glass clarity at all. £400 ono.
  12. Its all Shiny Shirts with as may logos as you can you can find space to put them, not a problem for some of the very large competitors 🤪
  13. Hi, I'm interested. Whereabouts are you based? I'm on WhatsApp 07590420108.
  14. I'm delighted to say the dummy rounds I've made up all fit, so thats the first hurdle over. Im less delighted to report my exhaust back box and the rest of the system parted company on the way home, so it may be a couple of days before I can commence firing! As to pulling rounds, I do have a Frankford Arsenal pile driver puller, which in my opinion is b****dy marvelous.. and must have paid for itsself several times over.
  15. We had a great day Barry and my first experience of shooting steel targets. I was using a single shot 6mmbr. Really in the ethos of run what you have got. It wasnt the arms race it is now. The steel shooting we see now days has such specialised kit, you would never want to use the rifle for anything else. Much like you wouldn’t take an F class rifle out deer stalking or foxing, you wouldn’t with a rifle that would get you finishing a stage on a PRS stage.
  16. 2000 rounds isn’t too bad. The stuck cleaning rod is something I have to admit to also doing with my first centrefire. It also ended up in a re-barrel. as per the replies above. You might struggle with the brass if the chambers differ too much. Worth taking the firing pin out and checking the chamber. I would also do some pressure testing. Load up some rounds from 40gr in .5gr steps to make sure the rifle will be safe with the load you have in your 500 rounds fingers crossed for you, because pulling 500 rounds will be no fun at all.
  17. Well over 2000 rounds (I bought the rifle used) and a stuck cleaning rod, which in my ham fisted efforts to remove it seems to have marked the lands. One or both of the above has seen groups opening up and the odd unexplained flyer. Neil McKillop has fitted the barrel and diagnosed the old one.
  18. Hi Andy.. He said he had 500 rounds already made up 😳. I hope they fit as that's alot to redo 😬
  19. Just checked Brownells reduced price when I advertised it was £489 or somewhere near. Still cheaper than elsewhere, and no wait for 4–12 weeks. Description changed.
