Villadave59
Hi all, Just thought I'd share my thoughts on my visit today to Valkyrie, having traveled from the Isle of Wight I rang the bell and was greeted by Dave wylde who immediately banged the kettle on ! My first impression of Daves setup was spotlessly clean workshop area, and well stocked shelved area full of high quality components and accessories, the purpose of my visit was to discuss fitting a 6.5 creedmoor barrel to my AI ax308 rifle, and I like to meet people f ro f,before making a decision to splash out, having discussed the options with Dave I've settled on a Bartlein barrel to match as closely as poss the profile of the AI factory barrel, threaded for tactical brake and cerokote finish to match close as possible the factory finish, If this is beginning to sound like a plug for daves buiseness so be it , I can only say this is the first time I've met him and if your looking for honest advise from someone who not only builds custom rifles, but also shoots himself at highest level and has a genuine enthusiasm for what he does you could do a lot worse than give him a call.. bradders
He didn't offer me tea or some bics, must of been the accent Well quite! A few pointers here Yorkshire Tea doesn't come from Yorkshire, and PG Tips is far better No self discerning UK Gunplumber will serve coffee to a customer, unless it's real coffee, and not instant shite Biscuits are pointless, at Chez Bradders you will get a Wetherspoons breakfast or a local pub lunch of the highest order Anyone can scribble a name on a mug with a Sharpie That said, Baldie's not a bad lad.........for a slaphead

Pretty much sums up my visit a few weeks back to pick up my 308. I was surprised at the amount of stuff on the shelves/walls. As a soft Southerner I was particularly pleased to be presented a with a cup of tea that wasn't the colour of turd, as my brother in law insists all tea from up his way is >.>
Villadave59
I think the colour of the tea was cerokote "coyote brown " closest match
