Tuck
Hi all I'm after some advice on the following, I've tried the net and havnt really found an answer, does anyone know what bases and screws I need for a Stiller predator action without a picatinny rail, would the warne Rem 700 bases fit? Sorry if this is a stupid topic, just don't want to order the wrong ones, any help would be much appreciated
Leeman
Tuck, You would need two front Remington bases which I think Warne sell, or a set for an Accutrigger Savage should work. I'm pretty sure they use 6-48 screws with the same centers. The distance between the sets of base holes will be different on the Savage but not an issue unless you want tapered bases and even then if you use Burris Signature rings it doesn't matter. I'm assuming you are talking about two piece bases, it you want a rail you may have to contact Stiller or maybe EGW make them and they do export from the States. I had a similar issue with a different US made custom action with the same footprint as a Rem and got some bases from EGW. Richard.
