swatty
I'm using same bullet but with varget which I believe is similar to 140 getting Average 2827 and is a very capable deer killer
Spiker
banus02. This is almost identical to my go to stalking load. N140 under Sierra 1530 HPBT bullet in Lapua brass. Muron primer. 37.3g (Sierra loading manual accuracy load) in my Bartlein barrel 2940fps. Excellent accuracy. No complaints from the deer. Spiker. Will0
I don't know about deer legal spec and velocity, but I managed 3200fps with 87gn v max with N160. Just worth a thought if you want the extra punch
EMcC
My favourite .243 load is the Hornady #2442 87gn HptBt with 40gns of H380 and a Federal primer. When using Sierra 85gn Hpt I use the same load but with a Federal Gold Medal Magnum primer.
