Anschutz ejector

Hobbit

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a 22LR Anschutz 1710 D-HB

It is very accurate and I like it but the ejector is weak - often failing to clear the cases

I have seen that this is a common failing in Anschutz rifle - is there an after market fix or an anschutz savy smith that anyone would recomend?

Thanks

It is a common fault in some models derived by Anschutz going to a stamped part.

It is a simple fix that you can do so long as you do not go at it like a Bull in s China shop :)

I sorted my MPR and it now ejects reliably, do a few searches on 'MPR ejector problems' and there are good instructions with photos, I'm on vacation at present but can help you when I return if you still have issues?

I got the same rifle with the occasional case not being ejected; the empty case just stays in the ejection port.

Here is a link which may be of interest.

I myself have not done this modification to my own rifle as this only happens sporadically.

If you happen to fix your ejection problem, please post the results on the forum. Would like to know how you went.

Hi All,

I sorted mine out after suffering years of tedious non-ejection from my XIV carbine.

It doesn't exactly spit them out like the .17 HMR but they do now at least clear the action 100% making the rifle actually useable.

Cheers

clive

what did you do?

Thanks

Fiddled about with it as per the instructions / drawings in the link provided.

I bought a spare set to mess about with. Only real pain in the bum was getting the spring clip on and off.

Cheers
