People who have previous experience with Pulsar thermals generally don't rate them compared to what went before (HD, XD and particularly XQ models) and compared to the current Helion models People with no previous experience of thermals tend to think they are wonderful. They are what they are - the cheapest half way decent thermal monocular available. In general they will let you know that "something" is there, but won't provide enough detail to be able to say with any certainty what the "something" actually is.
