Ruger Precision Rifle - modified Phoenix Bipod mount.

One of my recent customers saw my own modified mount ( a very low profile top rail mount for those who dont require a QR mount ) on the LMT and decided to try the same approach on his new Ruger Precision Rifle.

 

The actual bipod quick-detaches anyway so loss of function is not an issue.

 

The modification involves my screw-in mount more usually used on wood stocks. A few minutes machining and a couple of drill/taps and this is the result.
