Reused pulled bullet and different ogive before and after

I have kinetic bullet puller. Pulled a couple - circa 10 from a reload that went wrong (REDDING DIES - I get onto that later). The ogive on my rifle is 2.223" . Prior to pulling these was fairly consistent. These are Lapua Scener 155gr .30 cal - so good bullet heads in my opinion. after I measure them again without adjustment I was getting 2.210". Using a brand new bullet (not pulled) on same die and setting still provided 2.223" any one else seen this? Is there any potential the bullet head had been distorted some what after crimping and pulling?
